Night in Clapham (The Jam Tree)

Wednesday 12th September: I was invited to the The Jam Tree launch, who can resist free cocktails?!  This lovely bar has taken over from its predecessor, Grafton House, which was, let’s face it, pretty rubbish.  Now, you can enjoy a diverse menu for both food and cocktails and more importantly to some people, good music (Grafton House had a terrible PA system and sometimes even played those popular-songs-remade-by-amateurs that you hear in Superdrug!)

It is located in Clapham Old Town, a two minute walk from Clapham Common tube station.  There is a huge beer garden at the back and a “secret” entrance to the Bookcase Bar.

This place is bound to be at its peak this spring/summer, so make sure you book a table.  I recommend their jam mojitos!

About Hayles

Living in and loving London, I like to cram in as much as possible. I have a lot of different hobbies which I start on a whim and most of the time abandon for something else! My current interests include film, TV, music, comedy, art, photography, theatre and finding new yummy food establishments. Mostly I just love to experience the many joys and wonders that London offers. I started this blog to help me remember what I've actually done at the end of each year, but now I actually really enjoy writing and sharing what I hope is funny and/or useful information.
